Lee Stutt has today delivered a really valuable and informative webinar on common problems in commercial leases in conjunction with Cornwall & Isles of Scilly Growth Hub
It was a well attended session with lively and sophisticated questions raised by those attending
Lee covered the Landlord & Tenant Act 1954, how to forfeit a lease (and the forfeiture process), break clauses, rent arrears, dilapidations, disrepair, derogation from grant (a landlord not giving what the tenant expected to have), improvements and repairing covenants plus a couple of 'PG tips' for personal guarantees and assignment of leases
