Stutt Associates is Start-Up Business of the Year 2025

At a glittering awards ceremony at Crowne Plaza in Plymouth on 28 November 2025 we were named The Start-Up Business of the Year 2025 in the West Country Women Awards.

This is a huge deal, as it means we are the best start-up in the entire West Country, including Cornwall, Devon, Somerset and Dorset.

Lisa picked up the award for her approach towards community, inclusion and revolutionising the way legal work is marketed and sold locally and nationally.

The prize comes with a great little trophy and certificate, but also a trip to parliament next year, including a tour and a round table with female MPs, that feels like an extra cherry on top of the cake.

The ceremony itself was a wonderful celebration of how women coming together can lead to really great things. The room was electric, with inspirational, fearless, audacious and confident women in a supportive and empowering environment. It was a real 'pinch me' moment for Lisa, who did not expect to come away with the trophy and went just for a night off, to celebrate all the worthy winners in the 20 categories.

We would really love for this award to open doors for more community engagement and education around legal work and to continue the revolution to make legal services more accessible, less intimidating and flexible enough for every client.
